2027: Assembly man Abdul-Rasheed Kashamu reveals the next step in service.

A lawmaker in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdul-Rasheed Kashamu
said he is ready to take the next step in service by representing Ijebu North/Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election.
The young Kashamu in a post on his Facebook Page, obtained by News Contact Online,on Friday, said his decision to eye the seat was based on his proven record both as a public office holder and a philanthropist.
He added that his legislative experience at the State level would be brought to fore at the National Assembly to address the needs of the people.
“Now aspiring to represent the good people of Ijebu North/Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Kashamu brings with him valuable legislative experience and a deeper understanding of the needs of the people.
“His vision is centered on inclusive development, strategic federal presence in the constituency, and the attraction of meaningful projects that will stimulate economic growth, improve infrastructure and create sustainable opportunities for the people across the three local government areas,” he added.
The lawmaker said he believed in effective representation built on accountability and results.
While adding that the purpose of representation is not merely about occupying a seat in the National Assembly but about amplifying the voices of his people, advancing policies that benefit the constituency and ensuring that the region receives its fair share of federal attention and development.
