INT’L WORKERS DAY 2026: IPOKIA LG CHAIRMAN REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO GROWTH, WELFARE OF WORKERS .

The Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh, has extended warm felicitations to all workers across Ipokia Local Government in commemoration of the 2026 International Workers’ Day.

In a statement issued by the council’s Director of Information And Public Relations Officer, Mrs
Olumide Esther and made available to journalists, the Chairman lauded the dedication, resilience, and invaluable contributions of workers to the growth and development of the local government. He emphasized that the progress recorded across various sectors in Ipokia is a direct result of the unwavering commitment and hard work of its workforce.

Hon. Avoseh acknowledged the challenges faced by workers in the course of their duties and commended their steadfast determination and professionalism. He reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving working conditions, creating more opportunities, and enhancing the overall welfare and livelihoods of workers within the local government.

“Our administration remains focused on ensuring that every worker is recognized, supported, and duly rewarded for their contributions. We will continue to implement policies and initiatives that promote productivity, inclusiveness, and sustainable development,” he stated.

The Chairman further assured that Ipokia Local Government will continue to prioritize initiatives that strengthen communities and drive economic growth, noting that collective effort remains key to achieving shared prosperity.

He called on all workers to remain dedicated and collaborative in the pursuit of a more prosperous and progressive Ipokia.
