The Jadiara royal house, member of Fusenguwa ruling house, Odedina compound, Ijebu Ode has revealed that Chief Wasiu Ayinde Marshal who recently declared his interest in the Awujale stool claiming to be a prince from the Jadiara royal family has no genealogical lineage to Jadiara royal house.
In a statement signed by the Olori-Ebi of Jadiara royal family, Otunba Akinola Odedina and addressed to the Chairman, Deputy chairman and Vice Chairman of Fusenguwa ruling house, Ule Nla Agunsebi quarters, Ijebu Ode revealed that the aspirant (Chief Wasiu Ayinde Marshal has no genealogical lineage to the royal family.
The letter reads in part:
“I have observed with studied silence the event of the past few days concerning the issue pertaining to Otunba Wasiu Ayinde Anifowose and his aspiration to the Awujale stool through Jadiara royal house, I can say categorically that Wasiu Ayinde has not genealogical lineage to Jadiara royal house.”
The letter reads further that the chairman of Fusenguwa ruling house may have rightly given him a normination form to fill, expecting him to get his root to Jadiara royal family authenticated, we in Jadiara royal family have waited for him to show up with his form and other documents he may have to prove his lineage to Jadiara royal house.
The statement added that up till Sunday 7th of December, 2025, Otunba Wasiu Ayinde has not show up.
Otunba Prince Odedina revealed further that it is necessary to release the information because the issue has become public interest.
Planet news gathered that copies of the release were also sent to Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, Executive Chairman, Ijebu Ode Local Government, Ogun state commissioner for Local Government and chieftancy Affairs, commissioner for justice and Attorney General of Ogun State, Secretary to Ijebu Ode Local Government and the chairman, Awujale interregnum Administration council.
The Olori-Ebi stated further that the family and the public will be informed as the event unfolds.
