The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) will on Thursday, 8th January 2026, host the Managing Director of the Ogun State Waste Management Agency (OGWAMA), Mr. Abayomi Hunye, for a media parley with journalists in the state.
In a statement issued by Ogun NUJ secretary, Bunmi Adigun the engagement is aimed at fostering constructive interaction between OGWAMA and members of the media, while providing an opportunity to discuss waste management policies, ongoing reforms, achievements, and challenges facing environmental sanitation in Ogun State.
During the parley, Mr. Hunye is expected to brief journalists on the agency’s strategic initiatives, future plans, and the role of the media in promoting environmental responsibility and public awareness across the state.
The media parley is scheduled to hold at 4:00pm on the stated date.
Members of the press are encouraged to attend and participate actively in the interactive session.
