ENGR. TAIWO OLANEYE TINUOSHO BOWS OUT OF SERVICE

The Director of Works, Lands and Housing Department, Ipokia Local Government, Engineer Taiwo Olaneye Tinuosho, MNSE, has formally retired from the Ogun State Local Government Service after 35 years of meritorious and dedicated service, effective January 16, 2026.

Speaking at the thanksgiving service held in his honour at St. Luke Anglican Church, Erunbe, Oke-Ijeun, Ita Ogboni, Abeokuta, the Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government, Hon. Johnson Akohomeh Avoseh (AKA Cornerstone), described Engr. Tinuosho as a resilient, hardworking, humble, and highly competent professional who discharged his duties with excellence and commitment.The Chairman prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, and success for the retiree as he begins a new phase of life.

Earlier in his sermon, the host minister, Rev. Abraham O. Akeju described the celebrant as a God-fearing man who is deeply committed to the things of God. He noted that Engr. Tinuosho is a self-made professional who consistently improved himself academically by returning to school to acquire additional knowledge and skills while in active service. According to him, the retiree has found grace, favour, and honour in the sight of God.

In his goodwill message, Engr. Taiwo Olaneye Tinuosho, MNSE fondly referred to as “Engineering” in recognition of his strong work ethic, encouraged younger officers in the service to continually develop themselves through education and skills acquisition. He emphasized that self-development is key to success and that with dedication and learning, there is no limit to what they can achieve.

The event climaxed with the presentation of gifts and was well attended by dignitaries, including the Executive Chairman of Ipokia Local Government; the Director of General Services and Administration, Mr. Abiodun Adeogun, the former Director of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr. Ezekiel Omidiji, the Director of Planning, Research and Statistics, Mrs. Olufunke Adegbite, the Director of Information, Education and Sports, Mrs. Olumide Esther O. and Mrs. Bunmi Majekodumi, former Internal Auditor to the Local Government. Also present were representatives, forum of Local Government Engineers, Ogun State Chapter, headed by the Chairman, Engr. Ayoola Musibau Adeleke, family members, friends, and well-wishers.
