The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has dismissed thirty-eight senior officers, including an Assistant Commandant General, and twenty junior officers over acts of gross misconduct, insubordination and other related offences.
Statement, by the National spokesperson Afolabi Babawale, quoted the Commandant General of the Corps, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, saying that the dismissals followed the recommendations of the appropriate disciplinary committees, in strict compliance with the Public Service Rules.
The Commandant General reaffirms the Corps’ zero tolerance for indiscipline emphasizing NSCDC’s resolve to uphold professionalism, accountability and effective service delivery in the discharge of its statutory responsibilities.
