The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, heartily celebrates a quintessential media professional, Mrs. Funmi Opatola, as she marks another glorious year.
In a statement issued by the secretary of the council Comrade Bunmi Adigun the union joined OPATOLA and NTA families, friends, and the entire media fraternity in honoring a woman whose career has been a masterclass in excellence, integrity, and dedication.
The statement added that as a veteran who steered the affairs of the Nigerian Television Authority at various levels and stations with grace and vision, she remains a shining example of leadership, particularly for women in the broadcast industry who look up to her trailblazing achievements.
The union also says
congratulations to the dogged and frank veteran on her sixty-first birthday and wish her more fruitful years on earth with good health and sound mind.
