Eid-el-Kabir: NSE Abeokuta Charges Muslim Professionals On Selfless Service.


The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Abeokuta Branch, has congratulated Muslim professionals and the entire Muslim community on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, calling on Nigerians to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and service to humanity.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Branch, Engr. Olumayowa Ayodeji Idowu, FNSE, the Society rejoiced with Muslim faithful for witnessing another Eid-Al-Adha celebration and urged them to reflect on the virtues of obedience, faith, perseverance, and compassion associated with the festival.

According to Engr. Idowu, the significance of Eid-Al-Adha goes beyond celebration, as it reminds individuals and leaders of the need to make sacrifices for the peace, progress, and development of society.

He noted that professionals, particularly engineers, must continue to contribute meaningfully to national growth through ethical practice, innovation, infrastructure development, and impactful community service.

The NSE Abeokuta Chairman also encouraged Nigerians to use the festive season to promote peaceful coexistence, support the less privileged, and pray for the continued progress and stability of the nation.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Abeokuta Branch, to promoting engineering excellence and societal development through professional collaboration and responsible leadership.

Engr. Idowu wished all Muslim faithful a joyful, peaceful, and rewarding Eid-Al-Adha celebration.
