The Ogun State House of Assembly (OGHA) Chief Whip and member representing Ijebu Ode State Constituency, Hon.(Mrs) Bakare Omolola Olanrewaju Serifat , has extended warm congratulations to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola on his emergence as the consensus gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ogun State.
In a statement made available to Newsmen, Hon. Bakare described Senator Adeola’s emergence as a product of his consistency, dedication, and proven track record in public service.
She noted that the decision of the party to adopt a consensus candidate reflects unity, maturity, and a shared commitment to the continued progress of Ogun State.
Hon. Bakare emphasized that Senator Adeola’s experience in governance and legislative matters positions him as a capable leader who can consolidate on the achievements already recorded in the state.
She expressed confidence that his candidacy would further strengthen the APC’s chances in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
She also commended the leadership of the party in the state, particularly the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, for fostering inclusiveness and cohesion among party members, which made the emergence of a consensus candidate possible.
