There are names that politics gives us.
There are names that positions give us.
And there are names that service gives us.
One of such names is His Excellency, the Distinguished Senator, Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel — OGD.
But beyond the title, the political office, and the public recognition, who really is Gbenga Daniel?
He is a man whose story is also about people, compassion, empowerment, and service.
As Governor of Ogun State, his administration invested in education, infrastructure, healthcare, industrial development, and human-capital development.
As Senator representing Ogun East, publicly reported initiatives have included support for petty traders, farmers, women in agriculture, healthcare interventions, community projects, and assistance to vulnerable people.
But perhaps the greatest part of OGD’s legacy is not only what was built—it is the lives touched, people empowered, and opportunities created.

Support the farmer.
Develop the youth.
Care for the vulnerable.
